Community Mural
The Girdwood Center for Visual Arts announces its annual Community Mural Painting Day. Join us Saturday June 18th from noon until 4 PM at the Girdwood Forest Fair Park. Our mural artist this year is Renee Everhart. Bring the family and let’s create!
Art on the Lake
Discover art on a cruise around Portage Lake. Girdwood Center for Visual Arts presents “Art on the Lake”. Be at the dock by 5:45 PM on June 22. The cruise is scheduled to leave at 6PM. Tickets are $50 and include wine and appetizers provided by Portage Glacier Café and musical entertainment by Eli Whitney, Cade Loving, and vocalist Nicole Sword. There will be art demonstrations & a chance to win some wonderful art pieces in our raffle. Tickets may be purchased at GCVA in person or by phone at 783-3209, or at the dock the day of the cruise.
